Default 91 accord wont stay on ...

The original problem is my car was runing lean. I determined that from looking at the spark plugs today. I set my timing to +16 with the gun a year ago. and recently it was boging a little I figured the computer was going bad because it dosent hold memory. Every time i disconect the batery I have to let the computer learn it self again or it wont run right. So i went to the junk yard yesterday and purchased another pt3 but it was out of an auto. I have a 5 speed. the car ran great it acctually felt stronger. I drove it for about 1.5 miles (around a big block) and turned it off, then I drove it to school about 7 miles away drove great, when I got out of school I drove it for 200 feet and it shut off. I coasted to a parking spot and turned it on again and it stayed on for about 3 seconds and then cut off. I changed my main relay a year ago and it has gas in it, new wires also, im baffeld to what the problem could be.

Sorry for the long post any help would be appreciated... thanks

If your running lean, look at the fuel system. Id put the original cu back in so you dont have too many variables while your diagnosing the problem.

When it stalls out, does it feel like it runs out of gas? Or does it die out all the sudden?
Id look at the fuel pump/filter. Ignition switch, and the main relay again. Bad igniters can also cause your symptoms too. Good luck!

Next time, start it and keep a little pressure on the key. Like your almost going to start it again, but not...
If the main relay was not brand new when you installed, try the resoldering trick and see if that helps.
