Default is TPS replaceable

is the TPS on a ITR throttle body replaceable? My TPS is starting to go bad, and when i took off the TB to check it out i notieced their are 2 bolts holding the TPS on, but there are no heads to the bolts. If they make replacement TPS's will I have to drill the old bolts out? On the top of the bolt(visable from top of TPS), it looks like their is some kind of ring, or clip holding the TPS on.. Sorry for the long and probably confusing post, im just trying to be descriptive. TIA

Take a dremel and make a rivet so you can take it off with a flathead

Autoparts store dont sell them seperately neither do most people since they're a pain to get off and you shouldn't just bolt the new one on you have to test it and make sure its getting its giving correct voltage and no throttle and full throttle

You can buy a used throttle body from anywhere between $20-$150

+1 Put a grove in it & use a flat head or start to drill it & then once the bit starts to bite turn the drill in reverse & try to get it to start them out. I can get you some oem screws that go in the tps. They have a head on them that you break off after you tighten it down..
