i dont know much about car audio
the civic i bought didnt come with any
head unit...
and i am thinking of putting one in it
do i need the spec bracket or adaptor for a aftermarket
head unit???
and what sizes are the speakers for the rear..it is a hatchback eg

i have an Alpine wma/mp3 player, the thing is great and never gave me any problems. Easiest way to do it would be to just buy the harness that connects to the stock one. this way you're not rigging it by cutting off wires. no speacial anything required....If i'm correct the speakers should be 6 1/2 all the way around.... thats how they are on the coupes..

 

a faceplate kit will make it look nice and be a little more secure. but not required.
