Default tranny whoas

ok so i bought a gsr swap recently. it went in my crx so i traded my tranny for a cable j1.... not knowing if either of the transmissions where "good".

so heres my problem: when driving it gets stuck in 2nd... after i push the shit out of it pops out to neutral. then 5th is way the fuck over to the right. i know the linkage is good. the only thing i can think it could be is the tranny........

WTF could it be please help!?!?!?

ya sounds like somethin inside the tranny fo sho. um....synchro, blocking ring, could b anything really. ur describin 2 different problems here so it could b more than one major thing wrong. check ur clutch too. is it hard to get into all gears? does the car shutter/chatter when u take off? could b a bad clutch if this is the case. trannys and clutches are hard to diagnose tho.....
