Four door curb weight

As most of us all know my beloved EK was totaled and I'm now looking for a donor car to put the new motor into. I've been looking for a while and all I find are four doors so I was just curious as too how much more a four door weighs than a hatchback or coupe, too my amazement the four door actuall weighs less than a coupe by a few pounds and only weighs 108lbs more than a hatch. Can anyone confirm this?

Also has there ever been a 12 sec all motor four door?

Can you say new world record?

Nevermind... all my hopes and dreams were just crushed, I just saw a vid of an all motor four door going 11.97

depends on the trim level but 4dr Eks are heavier than 2 drs which are heavier than hatches. 4dr EXs are at 2510ish 2drs EXs are at 2460. 4dr DXs are 2313 and 2dr DXs are at 2271 and hatches are at 2253. personally i like the way hatches look the best so i would go with them anyway.

also depends on the year. especially with egs. if they have airbags theyre def gonna weigh more than those w.o em. also consider power windows, locks, sunroofs etc....they will all add weight to ur 4 door. so it doesnt suprise me that some 4 doors are lighter than some coupes.

even with egs it depends on trim level. Si hatches are up near 2400 and Vx hatches are only 2094. where Ex sedan is 2522 and the lowest Dx is 2313. so a base 4dr does weigh less than the highest trim hatch, but its all relative. Ex coupes are 2443 and the dx is 2231.
