Horrible grinding noises... 95 accord..

When ever i lock my doors they make a horrible grinding noise....... its a 4 door 95 accord, with power locks.

I dont mind the first grinding sounds. but after you lock all the doors, It keeps grinding like twice a minute after i have allready locked the car up???? What the hell is making it grind???

And how the hell do you fix it?? They unlock fine without making any funny noises!!!

Any help???

Not yet im just trying to find out what it might be. be fore i start ripping it all apart. all 3 doors do it but the driver door does not.

im thinkin sensor, or the lock acuators.

im gonna work on it tommorow.

Mine does the same exact thing, i just took out the fuse and said "fuck you auto locks"... Haven't put the fuse back, that noise is just so loud and embarrassing.... i haven't had the time to go look for the fix either,..... when i do i'll post it up unless someone beats me to it.

its the door lock actuator(sp)in the lower part of the door panel.do a search on hondasociety and you should find plenty of info

my friends eclipse has been doing the same thing for the past 3-4 years, nothing ever broke but it is annoying.

I just want it fixed!!!! DAmmmitt!!! I wouldent mind if it just did it when i locked the doors..... No it keeps doing it in pulses.... if the doors are locked... So i pulled the power locks fuse for now. just so i can lock the car... without a shitload of noise!!

Yeah, I would pull the passenger door panel and have a buddy lock the driver side repeatedly as I looked at the passenger mechanism. If it makes a loud noise, the cause should be pretty glaring...........................what if all it needed was some door
lock lube?-Bob
