i don't think my vtec is kicking in but theres no cel any ideas? it's a d15b7/z6 minime and now that the vtec is hooked up i don't feel any diffrence? i grounded the vtec to the block instead of the speed senser could that make any diffrence?

 

CHECK the oil presure. if its to low it will not ingauge

 

Its also not a b series, its not gonna pop like you are probably expecting it too. I can barely hear mine, actually I honestly cant tell you i do hear it. I have a loud exhaust though..

 

thats cool i'm runing a header only so it's real loud maybe it's just me then thanks to all

 

yea vtec in single cams are kinda hard to hear.. but you should feel the differnce if there is and there isnt..

 

well it doesn't feel any diffrent

 

1. try reseting the ECU. VTEC may be disabled, but would return once the ECU's memory is cleared out.
2. be sure you have oil to proper level
