Default Why does my interior fuse keep blowing?

One day while driving my door open light came on and I was like wtf? Because my doors were closed and upon closer inspection the interior light fuse was blown and it causes my door open light to stay on and I can't arm my alarm and of course.....my interior lights don't work. So I replaced the fuse and about an hour later....again it blows. I try one more time.....and AGAIN.....what the hell is going on?

No I haven't done anything at all recent. But now that I remember, I had a loose wire in the car touching something, and I thought that's what was causing it to blow when it blew the 2nd time so I fixed it but it still happened....I guess I'll double check.

If you have anything wired up to lights in the car (neon tubes, cig lighter shit, i dunno whatever) and it overloads the wire (causing the frail metal in the fuse to pop) that means you have a bad connection or putting too much through it. Try either getting beefier wire and use less ghetto-rigged taps and make more solid connections. If it doesn't help, try taking things off. Sometimes these problems can be huge pains in the butt if you don't have an idea of what to look for.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

Sounds like the circuit is overloaded, and takes a while to blow.

Take off the last thing you wired in, and wire it to take power
from somewhere else.......maybe a 20 amp fuse.-Bob
