Great runs and times!

Off-topic. IMO it's a waste of time to drive cars like Jason's to the track. Anything can happen. Someone decides to rear end you. Someone runs a red light and hits you (true story with an NHRA SFWD car with years invested). You break a gear at the track and none of the people that said "you should drive it to/from the track" lend you a hand, etc. I finished setting up boost by gear, two step, no lift to shift anti-lag on someone's car at the track. Make a pass. Come around again. Breaks an axle at the line. Thank God for the trailer because I saw no one lifting a hand to help him Everyone can argue this but until you get your car to that point you wont know the feeling

YouTube - K20 CRX
My crx went 11.0 @125 with the 100 shot. This is on a third(turd)engine that I threw together because I didnt want to hurt my 2.4. I reused ALL parts from 4 different hurt engines. 2.0 block(still with gash down cyl3), reused type-S pistons, reused rings , reused head gasket, reused all bearings, S-oil pump, ....you name it its used. The head was a TSX head with S2000springs, S-retainers, type-s cams. I spent $170 on an RBC mani, $20 on valve seals, $40 on fluids(Mobil1). Borrowed a NOS direct port from a friend(thanks Josh).
Started the motor up on wed, tuned motor on thurs, added NOS friday, tuned 50&75 shot Saturday morning, Tuned 100shot at the track. K-pro is the Sh!&.
The car went 12.2 on the motor, not too bad I guess. The fun didnt start though till the 100 shot.
Overall I had a good time. I got to meet some of you I havent met before. Now its time for the 125 shot(gotta get my 10sec timeslip -Neal

I was under the impression you still had your 2.4 in it, now it all adds up. I can't wait for my go.

13.7@102 no traction in 1-2 so they barley saw full throttle. WOT runs netted 2.5 60 foots and damn near 15 second runs.

Thanks again white prelude guy for letting me barrow the jack and 14mm.

anyone else's slip times not match the board time on the right side?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
