There is a guy in orlando that can bore out your stock throttle to whatever size you want. This way it fits like it did before, but gives that extra flow. If interested, check out Maxbore.com throttle body boring service

uhh h..... exactly 7.2 hp and 3.4 ft lbs of torque?

add red stickers and you might get more.

I know that sounds dumb but the point I'm making is that you won't know until you dyno before and dyno after. Depending on other modifications to the motor, it might work better.

Yeah 7.4hp and 3.4lb ft of torque sounds bout right. The throttle body just basically gives you a chance within an orifice to gain more horses and torque with more air entering. Boring the throttle body to about 70mm use to be greatly wanted in the 70's in motors that were carburated.

If anything, change the IM and leave the TB stock.

There would be no point at all to change/bore the stock TB and keep the same IM. That would be like equivalent to running a 3" DP w/ a 2.5" exhaust...which is called bottle-knecking, and a big no no
