is the only advantage price or does it perform better? i definetly dont want to lose power from where i was before.

well if you said you spent 5.5K on that crap motor then you got fucked over anyway..but doing a 1.8 you will be much happier and will have alot better pull

no doubt, something went wrong. but it ran its ass off when it was running. question is will i make more power with a true vtec block or the ls block?

We have an h22 swapped del sol on teamsolfl.com. PM twoseatterror or H22AEG2

The advantage of an LS bottom end is the 89mm crank. That's about it. Otherwise you have to run oil lines for VTEC to work. You can always take an 89mm crank and put it into a b18c block ... or go all out and get a nice stroker kit for a b18c

Anyway, yea 5.5k for that motor to blow after 15k miles? That sucks, mang.
