Default acura rsx intake

im a chick so be nice.im looking to get the aem cold air intake for my rsx...but can you get a bypass system for it to avoid water damage? havent been able to find one..also does it fit properly in the hood because i know when i bought the eip intake for my ex's VW GTI he had to cut part of the engine cover for it to fit and would never be able to put the stock part back on

thanks

yes you can get the bypass system for it. The bypass valve is a universal part, requires cutting the intake for installation. You won't have to modify anything on the car for it to work. Good luck

and they are a pain to put on a rsx most cold air intakes for that car you have to take the front bumper cover off and relocate the washer fluid reservoir

oh yeah, you definitely get a real nice sound out of it. You'll love it, hearing the VTEC crossover, screaming to 8000rpm.
