ok so i gave up on the z6 harness and wired the vtec up by itself no problem there took it out for the frist time and was getting o it pretty hard when the engine light shoot on at 6000 rpm 3rd gear pulled over turn off the car to read the codes and there was no cel anymore then the car drove fine all the way home at normal driving i was just wondering if anybody else had this problem before i went hard on it again? could it be the fact that i don't have the low oil pressure senser hooked up you know the one right above the oil filter? thanks for the help

 

So you used my advise huh? Lol anyways are you sure the ECU is stock? Alot of people when they chip a car use the CEL as a shift light and in the VX I believe it has an arrow going up for a shift light. I really don't know what it is but if it went off it mighta just been from you getting on it somewhere something came disconnected a little bit. I really don't know. Anyways rep me!!!

 

ya i use your advise about the vtec but still want to know why that harness didn't work bought it that day for 75 bucks! thanks i'm pretty sure it's stock ecu from a delsol 93 but the cel stayed on until i shut the car off i put a jumper on the ecu to through the codes and there was none turn the car back on and the cel was off? it came on in 3rd around 6000
