ignition coils misfireing?
I have an 02 type s RSX and the check engine light is coming on sometimes. When I brought it to the dealer they said that the ignition coils were misfireing and my plugs are bad as a result. I am pretty good at doing my own work on the car I was just wondering if this job is as easy as replacing these parts or if it is worth paying the $600 to the dealer to fix it?
do it yurself as long as it is a bolt off bolt on process and you have an idea of what you are doung at least. save some cash for future mods. should be a straight forward process to change the coils cause i think each plug has their own coil which sits atop them...
