Like the title says where can I get my head lights cleaned in tampa? They're oxidized

 

havent done this but i know people who stick their headlights in the oven to pop em open then u could clean it yourself. save some flow.

 

I know about that method but I'd rather have them proffesionally cleane'd, and I suck at baking... I burn everything

 

do a search on ebay for some headlight cleaners. i have bought some twice and it is some paste that u apply to the headlights and rub like a son of a bitch and it comes out awesome!!! might run u like $5-$10

 

i have done 3 or 4 ek's, a 94 bmw 318 and on the teg i have now .it might not be the ''professional'' way but it works great. get some 2000 grit sand paper and wet sand them about 10 or 15 min each side then get this stuff its like 2 bucks at discount called plastic-x plastic polish and use that after you dry them off from wet sanding. like i said might not be ''professional'' but i have never had a problem and works great also very cheap to do and doesnt take much time at all

 

hmm... those sound like great ideas, I just didn't feel comfortable taking apart my headlights or throwing them in the oven

 

toothpaste & a little water.....

 

I'm gonna try the toothpaste and wet sanding methods and do before and after pics probably tomorrow or something

 

I know hou you feel... let someone else fuck up my headlights and not get paid if I'm not happy...
