honda owner at last

I picked up a 1988 honda crx with a d16 motor so i guess im finally a honda owner. bad thing is i know dick about hondas so any ideas or suggestions would be cool

What kind of d16 motor is it?
If you look where the transmission and engine block meet, it will say D16A6 or D16Z6, it will most likely be one of those two, they are commons swaps and the D16A6 is the CRX and Hatchback Si motor.

b16a1 is a nice upgrade and its realitvly cheap $1500 for full swap most likely

you can make good power from the a6, will most likely beat the b16a1

A suggestion.....If you don't get a Helms manual for the car, get a Chilton manual from Borders bokstore. Better than the Haynes manual from most a-parts stores.-Bob
