Default Quick Question

What is the easiest way to change my timing belt on my 99 ls... thanks

does any one out there want to help me change it b/c it alot harder than i thought and i do not have some of the right tools. i cant figure out a way to stop the pulleys from moving so that i can take the pulley nut off...

unbolt the right motor mount, take the crank pulley off and baddabing.

Put the car in gear & e brake on then try to remove the pulley

and sometimes a sudden JOLT! to the crank pulley nut will break it loose easier than a steady pull from a long bar.................ie: a quick kick in the right direction. If you need an air wrench to get it started, get back to me.-no charge.-Bob
