your relay for the fan does have a consist 12v to the relay when the key is in the on. postion. That relay is grounded through the coolent temp sensor. This should help you get started were to go from here. If you can, just swap a relay of the same power and control sides perhaps the condensor fan uses the same type of relay?? Swap them and see what happens. Maybe a sticky relay or faulty contacts within the relay. Providing that the wiring system is in its factory state.

Default Fan constantly runs/sensor/buzzer

If fan HAS BEEN running with engine on, since you got the car, maybe the previous owner wired the fan to be constantly on with engine on, to BE SURE the radiator would be getting air, and not overheat. I have wired a few fans that way myself for other people.
I have also wired in a sensor and buzzer to warn them if the fan
was running when they did not want it to run.
---------------
If fan JUST STARTED running with engine on, the wiring may be factory stock, and it may be the bad relay as Jag 4.2 suggested, and to find out,
just swap in a good relay. Junkyard relays are cheap and plentiful.
I have also wired in something that will solve the bad relay problem
to insure the fan will come on even if the relay goes bad and REFUSES TO START the fan............race cars do this all the time when you absolutely
positively cannot have a failure and overheat an expensive engine.

Let us know what you find, and we can all get smarter together.-Bob

So does your fan run constantly with the ignition on or does it come on?
