to anyone who knows about prelude motors (92-96)
im fixing to buy one..and i have a cherry picker, problem its going to cost entirely too much to tow my car out to where i can swap it over...so what i was wondering , if there is anyone on here who's EXPERIENCED in swapping in a prelude motor (h23..taking out my old one and putting in a new one complete long block)...im located in lakeland, i'm willing to pay you whatever is reasonable considering i'll be helping and providing the hoist..lmk whats up
you are going to buy one and want to have it towed back to your house but it will cost to much? so you want someone to go to where the car is and swap a motor so you can drive it home?
you can rent a car hauler for like $50 for a day from uhual and just borrow a friend or family members truck....
plus you should wait and swap a h22a into it anyways, you will be WAY happier with a h22 then a h23.

I dont have time to wait for an h22 i have to get this car running ASAP for its my daily driver, the motor im getting towed to my house for 20 bucks...versus the 250 it costs to tow my car out to the guy who wants to swap it, I want someone to come where the car is (my home) to swap the new motor in and the old motor out yes

well yea i know that..does anybody wanna do this ? like i said tell me a reasonable price to come here and help me do this, ive never done it and my friends dont know shit about hondas
Its gonna be pretty easy.Im almost done with my swap,H22a into a DC Teg...that was a bitch!!
Yours should be pretty strait foward, just pulling out the old one and dropping in the new one...not to hard.Even if its your 1st swap/replacement.
I'd help you but right now im in Conneticut....but good luck.
But im gonna have to agree with abstractlude....H22a over the H23.G/l either way.
