B16,GSR or LS tranny?
ys1 gs-r tranny if you can find one...one of the best trannys with a different 5th gear and lsd but you dont have to really change the 5th gear on it..i like it on mine.

Just thought I would add my two cents
The LS is a horrible transmission for boost and even worse for NA. I had to rev higher than I needed to so I wouldnt fall out between shifts. And it takes a lot longer to get through the RPM band. Like Jason said. You usually want gearing to accelerate the quickest

But if the car is boosted, the LS tranny would keep him in boost longer wouldn't it?
