just an update. I tried teh JB weld thing and no go . I broke over 7 drill bits drilling. So the only thing i coudl do is make a new hole with threads for it.

Where you say? Well when you look at the oil pan you see the hole for the screw/stud then 2 dimples beside it. We used one of the dimples for the new hole.

Hopefully itll hold. My only worries is taht it will leak from where the broke bolt is but just in case i filled it with Gasket Maker.

Now I just have to bolt it up. Is it safe to say that 9lbs of torque = super hand tight?

Now with this behind me all thats left is to reinsert 4-1 header, crossmember, coolant and oil then start it up and hope that the headgasket i replaced (used arps studs) fixes my previous woes before i encountered this one.

Thanks,

Mondo
