^ thats what? 120 to the ground? I says scratch that..Pick up the entire z6 swap and tranny. and you can boost that thing stock to around 230whp...

are you serious?

my stock Y7 with a cold air and no muffler made 104 whp...

you think with 2 full points of compression, a VTEC head, a VTEC cam, a tune, and IHE he's only getting ~15 whp?

id say a well-built mini-me, with a decent tune and A1 pistons (all easily streetable) should be pulling 150ish to the wheels... which is more than a stock B16 or B18B will do...

PLUS he is learning how to build a motor, and if he breaks/loses/is missing anything, he can get it MUY CHEAPO!

Sounds like you need an H22 or a F22 hybrid.
Seems like the prices are pretty reasonable and will smoke most B series swaps
+1 on the F22 hybrid. He means the F22 DOHC not SOHC.

Save some money!! try to save about $2,500 to change parts while the motor is out. Ex: clutch,belts,gaskets,sensors,etc

if you've ever seen dan's or derka's car you wouldnt even be thinking about b16's... in my opinion they are pointless

the only other thing mentioned is a vtec cam...i/h/e is a given, and they are small gains.
