need clutch/trans help
ok so im driving along and come to a stop sign press in the clutch, then i go to pull out and after like 5 feet the car come to a hault. i press in the clutch and the car rolld to the shoulder..at this point im thinking my clutch just exploded. i start the car back up and try to take off and the car is stuck in 4 gear possibly 5th so its hell trying to take off from a stop. i still have some clutch but it will not come out of gear or go into neutral. the stick in the car feels like its in neutral and will not go into any of the gears but the trans it self is stuck in gear. i have not had the chance to check the shift linkage yet. but if anyone has a diagnosis from what i have listed post up. thanks
i think there is a couple things that can make this happen, but when it happened to me, it was because my clutch disc broke apart inside the tranny.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
i got it out of gear..but now there is barley clutch resistance..going to change out the slave cylinder and go from there.
the motor is f22 so it has the shifter cable and you can hear is clicking into gears.. will update after i change the slave cylinder

You don't need a clutch to change gears in an engine that's not running. Your trans is either shifting or not. If you can't hit all the gears (with a little bouncing of the stick) with the car off, you have something messed up in your trans or the linkage. If it shifts, put it in second with the car off. Put the clutch in and hit the starter. If the car jumps forward, your clutch/hydraulics/cable is the problem.
the clutch still works i drove it half a mile in 4th gear with some unwanted slipping of the clutch the slave cylinder does not disenguage all the way or enguage all the way. i am going to start with that. the car will go into other gears also.
