Default check engin light during accleration

I have a integra gsr that throws a check engine light during moderate accleration towards higher rpm. It does not happen with rapid or slow acceleration. The ECU says that it is either code 37 or 73. But I think that it might be a problem with the vtec, although when vtec is engaged the light doesn't necisarly come on. My car is turbo charged and this might also have some effect on this problem, but going into boost does not cause the light to come on.

Any Ideas as to what might be going on?

I'm using the stock map sensor. I was using a missing link with it, but it was causing my car to run poorly. the check engine light still came on even with the missing link so i removed it. My car is under 11 pounds of boost, which is the limitation of the stock MAP sensor.

I'm using a vafc for managment and was tuned with in the last year. I have an air/fuel gauge that I know is inaccurate, but it still gives me an idea of my mixture. Althrough my accelration it stays just above rich, which is how it was tuned.

you cannot run boost through the factory map sensor with a stock ecu. there is not fuel or ignition values for positive manifold pressure. now if you have a modified ecu with the appropriate adjustments made in the maps that a different story
