need help!!! **255 50 16 tire into civic**
hi i want to know if someone had ever tried to put a 255 50 16 into a civic. the reason i want to do it is because i m building a civic turbo setup probably 500whp and i wan to run on the street a set of mickey thomson radials but i want 255 50 16 on my front end. i just asking if someone knows what kind of rim to use or spacer or if will run ok lmk guys i will appreciate the help thanks.
I had 195/50/15 on my civic...the car was lowered and I set it up to fit the 195's fine...I upgraded to 205-50-15 and just that small size difference made the tires tucked and I had to half way roll the fenders and lift the car about .5 inches...I don't really think it would be possible to run your size tire without having the car jacked up fairly high and you would have to roll the fenders quite a bit and also would probably have to dent the wheel well in a little...I would also be worried about hitting the metal piece attached to where the disk brakes are (I think it is called a control arm or something).
