One of my customers JD put together a nice turbo kit for his y8 with 130,000 miles on the motor. I was impressed with the numbers per psi (It was a small super 60)

ok cool but if i was planning on building the engine and putting on a turbo, would it hurt the engine to throw a nitrous kit in it?

as far as D16's are concerned, i would suggest you go N/A to keep costs down...

a Y8 with some A6/A1 pistons, a mildly rediculous VTEC cam, cam gear, flyhweel, clutch, and a good tune will make a fun cheap project.....

IMO, if u want real power gains, the D16 isnt a worthwhile platform, but there are LOTS of people who will disagree with that, so its really up to what you wanna do.

g/l with it bro
