Default need head gasket work

i'm looking for someone close to spring hill who knows how to do head gaskets on a honda civic.

my 95 honda civic dx head gasket recently went, got a new radiator, just need someone who can do it cheaper than the shops around here, got quoted around 600.

yeah , it blew a hole in the radiator, got a new one and spirts out antifreeze .. weird thing is, the car hasnt been raced and was only to/from work constantly and then overheated one day and had to have it towed.

i have checked out those shops, just seeing if theres any individuals willing to do it.

Buy a helms manual and DIY, its really not that hard, and u can do it with basic tools

well it has to be machined and what not does it? pm me, think you might be able to fill me in a bit more about it?

it might need to b machined, but it still needs to go to a machine shop, so they can check for warpage

whats all involved with taking of the valve cover and stuff to get to the head gasket?

will i need any special tools?

the only things u need is a socket set, a long extension, and a torque wrench, I can give u the link for the helms manual that u can download if u want, it has all the info u need for your car

yeah hook me up with the link. not sure where i can get a torque wrench from, is it possible to do it without that?
