need help with brake lights

I have a 2000 civic si and my brake lights wont work. I replaced the switch behind the brake pedal, checked all fuses under the hood and under the dash, also checked all the bulbs. the rest of the lights work fine, running lights ,turn signals, reverse lights ets. just no brake lights. any advise would be appretiated

Are you getting 12v to one side of the brake light switch/wire?

and do you get 12v out the other side of the switch/wire
when you press the brake pedal?-Bob

and when you press the pedal, do you get 12v back at any of the brake light/wires at the back of the car?-Bob
