I have a B16 tranny with ITR LSD and JDM FD that is in need of a rebuild. Third gear is not engaging from neutral without some force and/or double clutching. Tranny has been drained and refilled with Honda MTF, same problem still exists.

I rebuilt it last time, about 1.5 years ago, with new synchros, seals and bearings. I don't have the time right now to do it all over again.

What shops/individuals does the TR community trust to do this sort of job?

U only got a year out of a rebuild?? how the hell do you drive? id just look for a new tranny a shop is going to ask about a grand for a rebuild

 

look up cxcivic on here, thats n.s. racing. He's one of the few that i would trust to rebuild a trans.

As for the way I drive, I think I drive normal. There isn't any grinding, but I am hoping that this "resistance" is caused by something else.

 

i have trouble shifting in some gears but i have a lot of slop ..so its not lined up to go in gear so sometimes its kinda like stuck and i have to wiggle it to go in...pretty embarrasing when tryin to race and hit gears fast
