There are tons of things you can buy. Look into an aftermarket swaybar system

Stainless brake lines, aftermarket pads, tires etc.

There are tons of things to look into.

I would get tires first, then upgrade your brake system, and dont foret the fluid(i use motul). Everyone always goes and buys all this adjustable shit and dont know how to tune it. Im guessing your just getting into this? So spend the money on what counts.

For brakes I have integra front, which is basically what you have on your SI. i use powerslot rotors, hawk hp+ pads, and Motul RBF-600 fluid.

For suspension i have H&R Race springs with tokiko blue shocks and some generic upper strut bars on my car. Its not the best thing out there, but ill tell you ill hand alot of cars and some bikes their asses(this is with a single cam too )

but like i said, get tires, brakes(rotors, pads, fluid, stainless lines), and droppin it some wont hurt.

Before you order anything read the rulebook. I used to be car chief for an ITS BMW 325is. There are alot of things in the rulebook that are not allowed and you will get caught and they don't like allowing cheaters to race. I know of several friends that were banned for cheating. Pick a class you plan on racing in and read the rule book. Touring class will be your best idea. A 99 si will either be ranked in ITA or ITS. These classes are very specific on what you can and can't do. First you should focus on the safety stuff like a cage, seat and general car prep. Then move on to suspension and tires. Springs/shocks are pretty much open as long as you don't try to run something like Motons w/ an external resevior. Depending on the car you may not be able to use aftermarket sway/strut bars, camber kits are definitely allowed though.

KJ's right. Pick your class, set a priorities list.
Start with safety stuff first.

When you get to the roll cage, I know someone who does cars
for Daytona, and can tie in the cage to take advantage of the rules and stiffen the frame for you.

pm me, and I will send you info on the car preparation book
that I helped with.-Bob

Keep me posted. Prepping SCCA cars is FUN for me.-Bob
