could anyone give me any suggestions on what fans to go with??

 

What fans did you have ?
Are you sure the fans are dead & your fan switch is still working ?

 

Junk yard honda fans FTW, Seriously, thats what ive done on my buddies cars before, made it look clean and worked flawlessly

 

i have fal dual fans i haven't checked for sure but there 5 years old. and this week when i was on my way home from work my water started going up and the fans never came on.

 

check the sinsor... Common problem.

 

pull the electrical connector plug off the fan switch located at the thermostar housing. Take a two inch piece of wire or paper clip and jump both connectors on the plug cap with the key on. If they fans fire up it likely is the fan switch.
Take it off. Put an inch of water in a pan on your stove. Set the non-electrical connector end of the fan switch in the water and boil for a couple minutes. Check two metal prongs on electrical end with ohm meter or test light while still in water. Meter should go down toward zero if it is working or light on test light should come on.

 

FAL Is da sheeeeetttt....

 

Powered test light, by the way. If you use a regular test light, nothing will happen. Just wanted to make sure you realized that.
