Default b16 1st-2nd-3rd-LS 4th-5th ?¿?

i was wanting a second opinion on this...i'd like to keep b16 gears 1-2-3- and have the LS 4th and final drive being that i do alot of highway driving.....apollo 2 highsprings on weekends kills me with this new B16 tranny i have....i still want the quick short b16 beginnin but the long top end....LMk if anyone has done this or its downfalls...

b16 tranny is a s1
LS tranny is a YS1

Yes, the LS 5th will be right at 80mph @ 3750 with the b16 4.4 final drive.

The drop in RPM from 4th(b16) to 5th(LS) is very noticeable.

you do not want the LS final drive. im assuming you meant 4th and 5th?

i have a S4C too, and im thinking about doing the LS 5th soon too

How can u determine that without knowing tire size or nething... 8500 in 4th on 24.5 is good for ALMOST 130mph which is PLENTY for 11 seconds. Even enough to go 10s.

But us VA people are emo
