what shop is most reputable for engine build?

depends on what youre building, theres other people on this board that can build motors just as well if not better than any shop but do not advertise and will probably charge you less. just make sure you go with someone reputable that has been known to stand by their work

this guy can build a motor too....look at his car in his sig, he built my old motor aswell.....

Check the shop directory, also Dave Brosi aka 99b16si does some awsome work & does not cut any corners.

Iv heard about some shit he ^ has built & I got an ecu in my ls he ^ chipped. BUT if at all possible DIY FTW. I do as much as I know I can do & try to have someone teach me the rest. Computers aint my field but, Ill learn

dave is a good guy and has built some very mean cars. i hear he likes glitter or something though

taylor is a damn good mechanic too, but dont talk to him for like the next two weeks or so, cause he will be working on my car.

thanks guys for your input. dave is a good guy know him like 6 yrs now and he has a nice car,he put a turbo on my last civic 3 yrs ago did nice job, but im gona go with jeff evans from evans-tuning for the build. his rep is awsome all over and his price isnt bad either for the stuff he does.
