My AUTO tranny shifter lock seems to be messed up..when i try to turn on the car I have to turn it on with the car in neutral otherwise if i start it with it on park, i wont be able to switch the gears??..it gets annoying having to continue to put the key in the shift lock and put it in neutral to turn the car on...anyone has had this happen to them

 

If Im not mistaken it is a box by the brake pedal. Or open the center counsole & solder the 2 lage wirtes together that are on the gear selector.
