Yeah it will be ok with a vtec head as long as the tune is good. Use a 57 trim or 60 trim t3/t04e.

well i already have a t3t4 turbonetics turbo..i dont know the exact trim...but i also might be wrong about the piston comp ratio...im tryin to figure it out...but they are 9.8:1 in a gsr...so .i have a ls bottom end..ls crank/rods and b16a head..what comp would be too high for turbo and 350whp..cuz obviously with higher compression itll take less boost to make 350whp..i think with t3t4 10psi should b close..over 300whp..but one site said about 9.9:1 while another said 10.34:1....so im not positive yet..?

Don't get caught up over .3 in compression, it won't make much difference. Stay close to 10:1. If it ill make you feel better buy a thicker cometic but I wouldn't worry about it. Personally I try to get around 8.5-9:1 on turbo motors.

but kj wouldnt the 8.5-9 produce less hp per lb of boost compared to 10:1..?..cuz i have a stock head and im thinkin if it takes more boost lets say...i have 8.5:1 and have to run 18lbs to make 350whp...where i could go 10:1 and 10lbs and have close or around the same??...or would i be better off doing the 8.5-9:1 .... u see what im gettin at...thx for ur professional opinion though..i might go ahead and get 9:1...cuz the guy who i was thinkin of buyin pistons off of wants 450 which is pretty much brand new pricing...so..ill see what happens..thx..

If you're worried about hp per psi your turbo is too small
