help!!! 95 civic

Default help!!! 95 civic

i have a 95 civic d15 last week i had problems with the car hearing this clicking sound coming from the engine i though my clutch was going because it was due couple months ago bought the clutch flywheel and seals change the whole thing put it all back together (the right way) and still hear the sound dont want to drive the car because as the rpms go higher the sound becomes louder i got the head rebuild not so long ago but one of my friends tells me it could be the head again or the timing is off im not sure at this point if someone could help or heard about this problem before gime a push on the right direction, im even thinking about buying another head and slaping it on it but im not sure yet dont want to spend more money and have the same problem thank....

if anyone had a suggestion would be really apreciated... or know anyone selling a d15 non vtec head...

did you replace the throw out bearing? adjust valves? what kind of clicking does it happen in neutral, underload, certain gears etc etc...

we need more info.

id guess valve clearance or possibly a CV joint going out (but only if its louder on one side or while turning)

dont forget! if you adjust valves, you MUST do them in the firing order of the engine!

i havent adjust the valves i just change the tranny cuz thats what i thought it was going (second and thirth were not going anywhere just reving really high) but no doesnt have anything to do with the cv joints its when i start it sounds like something is hitting clack, clack, clack something like that like i was saying someone said it was the valves hitting or something like that so i guess i have to do a valve job or rebuild the head right?

found out what the problem was, i talked to my boi and he told me the crankshaft was fuck up on of the pistons is slipping doesnt have to with the head but the botton is fuck now gotta get a new block =( anyone has any suggestion where can i get one?

you mean a spun bearing?

i have a D16Y7 longblock, ready for assembly if you are interested

did you check your axels and did you torque everithing to spec whenever you worked on it?

well you can go ahead and up grade motors now being that yours is a tad bit screwed
