If they suck, you wanna try me through some turns? Im not lying. Sometimes the key to a nice setup is simplicity. if everything is adjustable and you dont know how to tune a suspension setup(which most people dont and think they do), well then its not gonna help you very much.

Keep in mind im not saying my setup is the best, but i think it will fair well or better against the setup you mentioned. the next step i will be making is a full coilover w/ a paid chassis tech to setup my car on a track. I know guys who win honda challenge classes on a simple springs and NON adjustable shock setup

Generally lowering 1.5 " is a good street setup without killing the shocks
and bashing your car on speed humps. Every type car is different, though, if you don't want your tires to be eaten.

Be aware that with some mfg's, their coils will ONLY lower your car the advertised amount, if you also buy their shocks....sometimes an
expensive arrangement.

I know how to calculate how much to lower a car, and can
even lower cars using stock coils/shocks, while retaining your ride
comfort, using your stock suspension adjusters, and not
eating your tires. Simplicity itself.-Bob

ill take ya .

maybe ill find the article where they ran tokico illuminas and skunk2 springs on a delSol and pulled a 1.04 on the skid . i think it may have had progress sway bars as well.. but it still out handled high dollar sports cars on a setup that cost less than 1000$

youve watched too much inital d

ive had plenty of suspension setups and driven many others. ive even owned the the setup you are using now . but whatever makes you feel like a speed racer is good for you i guess .

i hope when you pay this guy to setup your car he sets it up for your driving style and not what he feels is a "good setup" . how about get some track time, and set it up yourself ? you'll learn alot more about your car in the meantime .

p.s. long live the single cam

Well as you can see in my sig, that is Homestead Speedway Yes it was fun, the only thing holding me back was my CX( ) tranny i put in on accident. I think some RA-1's and the SI tranny and I would have been rocking peoples worlds out there on the track(in my "class" of course)

:EDIT: Oh yeah and single cams rock
