Default engine pick

I want to know which one is going to be simpler and better for me to do. I got a b16a2(all i got is the bare block and crank no bults or anything) block and crank that i own . And I am about to buy a 93 civic coupe. I want to know if it is going to be better for me to just buy a GSR and fix that or just do the b16 and go with that. I the car will be turboed when everything is done.

i think you mean you have a B16 block/mains/crank, and you want to know if u should fix that, or buy the GSR engine?

need to know power goals, budget, your engine building competency level...

Well the b16 is low torque and high revving. While the gsr has more torque and hp. Well it all depends on ur goals. Keep us posted with watever u do.

i would buy an entire gsr swap...and boost it for the time being...save up and get forged pistons rods...and rebuild it when the time is right...the gsr will put a good 330whp down while u save for forged internals..400+hp safely on 5k isnt that much considering u need an entire swap...
