im going to swap an obd2 ecu + vtec swap into a 94 eg obd1, i need to buy a jumper harness how do i ask for it OBD2 to OBD1 or OBD1 to OBD2 thank you, is a 96 vtec swap into 94 eg

 

i hate to be 'that guy', but why would you want to go OBD2? its more hassle, more money, and harder to upgrade on (ok, well, marginally)...

if u have an OBD1 car (with harness), you will need to run, at most, 3 wires for it to work with a stock OBD1 ECU...

anywho, if u are re-using your EG OBD1 engine harness, and want to go with an OBD2 ECU, you will need "OBD1 to OBD2" conversion harness.

the engine that i might be swaping into my eg is a 96 ek stage 3 vtec obd2 ecu, if i get it im getting the whole swap + ecu

if u have a obd2 ecu just get a piggy back n it will connect right on the harness

Stay OBD-1, Going OBD-2 isnt worth it just because your getting a ECU.
