you have a blown gasket that is "starting to leak oil or whatever"?

-what gasket?
-is it leaking oil or not?

"does a sealer work good flowing through the cooling system"?

-no, i would use coolant instead of a sealer. it will cool the engine better.

"what can you do besides replace it"?

-nothing, let it leak.
-replace it (good idea)
-fix it (bad idea)

it took me 20 minutes to remove the head on my integra. Just replace it and get it over with. Its better to do it right the first time.

I never used this, but you might contact RxAuto Head Gasket Repair | Blown Head Gasket | Call 1-866-780-9037
1 866 780 9041.

That being said, if it LOOKS like it is leaking oil OUTSIDE the head,
near the headgasket, most of the time, it is leaking from an oil seal near the distributor, or the valve cover gasket got hard from heat and is leaking.

Gunk/wash off the engine and run it a while to see where it is leaking from and replace rubber gaskets before you touch the head.

If you want someone to look at it after you wash the oil off it, let me know.
Opinions are free.-Bob

If you have a chocolate milk substance in the radiator, then the
head gasket is truely leaking oil past the head gasket into the block.
Check the services/tuners link in my sig for a good engine guy.-Bob
