you could really fuck something up like that, get the battery bolted down and if you can get some sort of plastic covering over the terminals.

WELL GET THIS!!! that is what i thought earlier. oh and the pastic thing is over the positive terminal now. BUT come too find out my wiring harness had been sitting on the alternator pulley and it wore away a nice little gap. we just cut the harness open, separated all the wires that were good from bad, and dr. her all up. it took us 4 hours. i dont have the fuse pannel cover that tells you all your fuses under the dash, so i had to drive all the way across town and copy all the fuses. then we thought my headlights were causing it.......this car has some major wiring issues. the kid who had this car before me.....FUCKED IT ALL UP!!!!!! so to say the least, it went from me thinking it was:
fuel pump
dizzy
main realy
1 fuse
2 fuses
alt
headlights
ecu
starter

lol. im getting better with the wiring. thats my weak point. i can build something pretty though.

i would suggest that to fix, and to learn about your vehicles wiring, you buy/find/download a helms manual and use the electrical circuit diagrams to figure out which wires go where.

this will also help in diagnosing problems, and then you will be able to fix everything
