I'm moving to Tampa in a little over a week and have been getting a few quotes on car insurance. I am 22, never had a ticket, and drive a '95 GSR and currently pay about $300 every 6 months for comprehension only.

The quotes i'm getting for Tampa are 3 times as much.. Is this normal?? What does everyone else pay? Please list your age, car, and recent violations as well..

I know this isn't tech related, but I am looking for quotes on Hondas/Acuras, so this seemed the most logical place to post. If it's not, mod please feel free to move it.

 

18, no tickets, eg hatch, $190 a month

everything is in my name. idk how i got such a good rate with my record.

 

22,one ticket, 95 ex coupe, pay 675 for 6 months

im 20, i have 10 points.....i pay right at 75$ a month for pip and liabilty. But that is on my rents company account, if i got my own it would be right at 200.

 

29, 3 wrecks...more accidents then a care to say 75% was other people hitting me..minor trafficing..cars 99 teg and a 93 prelude w/full coverage on both 375 monthly
