I was thinking about getting some HXs for my GSR. Was gonna powder coat them white and buy white type r center caps to put in the middle.Would this look good or even work?

 

are HX's 14s? check your front brake caliper clearance, i think 14s are too small.

you have blades on it now?

i think slips look good on tegs, but i also think slips look good on everything, and i might be a little biased

 

shit that totally slipped my mind. really wanted a pair of white wheels with a dab of red somewhere since my car is red. was gonna get some white desmond regamaster evos but they cost close to $2000

 

desmonds dont cost $2000.... you can find em for $1200 or around that price range

I like polished HX's, them things are hot IMO, but i have funny tastes.
I personally wouldnt do white rims on a red car, too conspicuous, Id do black rims though on a red car.

i agree, black would be nice....maybe even some bronze/gold

 

you can find desmonds with tires for $1500... i dont know where youre looking but ur getting ripped off hardcore

 

+1 to polished hx's..i love em and gsr blades..i like oem wheels more then most aftermarket wheels

 

you need to grind down brakes to clear for HX wheels
