Default 1990 integra

i believe the problem is somewhere in the wiring not sure what it is but when i turn the key to start it it starts automatically i dont have to hold the key for 2 sec or whatever the car has an alarm with a remote start i think that might have something to do with it but i dont want to just start cutting wiries i dont know what im looking at so i need some help lmk thats a lot josh

first, please clarify:

you say "when you turn the key to start it, it starts".

do you mean it starts with just the ignition on?

second, does the remote start work? (i.e. from the remote)

third, why dont u just unplug the brain of the alarm, or remove its power lead before hacking anything, and that will eliminate the alarm as a problem.

yeah it starts after you turn the key to where you would to start the car but with out even holding it on for a sec it trys to start up and seems like it just keeps trying to start after its running and no the remote start doesnt work and i am going to see if i can un plug the alarm thanks for looking anyways

so you mean, once you turn the key to the "start" position, one click past ignition "on", it will start cranking even if you let the key fall right back to "on"?

as if it 'takes over' so to speak the instant you get to the "start" position?

if thats what you mean, then that shit is crazy! and you need to stop it or its gonna tear up starters like mad....

lol yeah i know man it was crazy as shit but i unplugged the main box for the alarm and it works so i guess im good to go i just have a wiring headache to work out now thanks for the suggestion man
