a 6 is pretty wide so ima go, 6.5 is pushing it

depends..some people have 225 /15s which are like 8.5in wide..i have a 195 on my 15s which is 7.6in wide..on a crx..depends on lowering of the car and size wheel..i think a 7.5in tire on a 17 will be ok. for ur car..but if u want ur car fast ...u dont want a 17

I ran 225/55/15 BFG's.......I only had one problem....I was still spinning them

shit ive saw 255 50 16 on the front of eg coupes...but of course they had coilovers raised all the way...........but ive also saw 235 60 15 all the way around no prob......but why do u want the largest tire....go with like a 205 50 or 225 50 looks good and clean and can lower clean

i got 205/60/14 on hx's not lowered and they seem to just barely clear if i went 2" lower they would rub. (oh yeah its an ek not an eg though)

I know you said 17', but for reference:

215/45/15 Toyo T1R's with 15X7 TE-37s with a 45mm offset. This EG had a 2.75 inch drop in the fronts and a 2.5 in the rear.

Tires actually hook up great on a EG, especially at the 1/4 track where his B16 swap with a junk-yard turbo setup, making barely 250hp at 12 psi, ran 11.7 one time at the track. Couldn't ran afterwards since he didn't have a roll-cage!
