Stage 1 , stage 2 , stage 3 clutch?

Default Stage 1 , stage 2 , stage 3 clutch?

what are the difference? i think it is time to change my 92 eg hatch clutch..it is got sohc vtec engine with aftermarket header and cat back...do i need stage 1 or 2 or 3 ? please advise. and is it easy to change the clutch??

if thats all u have done to it just replace w/oem/exedy...but if your going to boost it over 500 hp then u would need to step it up...its not that hard to do but i would just pay to have it done..but thats me and im lazy

so stage one clutch is good enough for my civic?cause i can get them from ebay for 100 bucks shipped..

We have noticed a bunch of "no name" clutchs coming out on ebay. Watch the ebay clutch deal....in the long run it's not such a good deal.

+1 I had a customer bring me a car with a sohc turbo setup using an ebay "stage 3 clutch". The clutch was slipping by the end of the tune.

the real question is, what is the max power you will be making before you will replace the clutch?
