dc transmission problems

me and my friend both have ls's i have a 94 and he has a 98 we both are haveing problems we can both drive are car's normal but when we get on them is starts to rev but not really go anywhere.,ine olny happens when its warm or hot outside his is when ever he trys to get on it. i replaced my clutch kit, flywheel, flushed my tranny fluids and replaced them.its really only when we get down on them any suggestions? and both of them are 5spds.

who replaced everything for you?was it done right?

me and my dad did and it was done right i followed everything by the book

if a new flywheel and pressure plate did you clean them good with cleaner b4 install,if you reused your onld one did you have it resurfaced at a shop and not try to use sand paper like i have seen people do

If new pressure plate, disc, and they are clean...........how
does the pedal adjustment look?-Bob

thats the only thing i couldn't figure out how to check could that be the cause?

If you did it by the book, does the book say anything
about adjusting the clutch?-Bob

If the pedal/cable/etc is adjusted close to the friction point,
it will slip.-Bob

Being this is a hydrolic system adjusting the clutch is useless. Heat will make the cars act differently. Not just the Clutch itsel but the entire engine. Of course your car will run a lil pggish in the heat... Thinner hotter air.. opposed to denser colder air. Unless your clutch is slipping then dont worry about it. its an LS its what they do.
