Default ignition tuning? for big spray

I'm building my first honda (recently converted from stangs)and I am wondering what most serious honda guys use for ignition retard when putting boost or spray to their motor.I have a built bottom b16 .the head was sent to cam-n-motion in miss. for a set of cams custom to the gears ,tire size etc etc and of course there will be some degree of retard in the cams because they know the motor is going to be dual stage sprayed. but what else do you guys source .I refuse to beleive everyone sprays imports without first adressing this .any help you guys could offer would be very helpful .thanks

Well I would use an MSD 7AL with dual stage retard . Most Honda guys just tune it for the motor and pull back the base timing on the dizzy for a single stage . Not too many have the balls to do a real dual stage ..

You can run a single stage retard box and just tune the car for the 1st stage if you want . I wouldnt put much timing in it depending upon spray amount and ramp time etc ..

Give me a little more info on your setup and i'll let you know how to better go about it

There are many different options to nitrous control.
1. You can run a msd ignition module to control ignition retard
2. You can run a fuel management system that has nitrous control & or secondary fuel/timing maps. (neptune rtp, aem ems, hondata s200/s300 etc.)

To learn more about these systems you can check out the following urls:
Neptune: HRTuning
Hondata: Hondata - Honda ECU Modification and Enhancement
Aem: AEM
