from looking at your name you def know about honda's. ok here is the deal with my car. when i got the car it wasnt running due it a frozen fuel pump. So i installed a stock pump. The car came with a B@M regulator and fuel pressure gauge. Otherwise to that its bone stock. From what i have heard the setting for pressure should be around 26psi to 36psi. But my wont even run unless its right around 80psi?? The ecu is throwing 2 codes #7 and 9. TPS and CYP. Ok now down to what the car is doing. First gear feels fine, ok amount of power. When the car gets anything past 1/2 throttle the car feels very flat. Even after playing with the fuel pressure we can get it to run alittle better. You can hear the car breaking up really bad if you drop pressure. I got it right now set where you can drive it but even at 3/4 throttle the car falls flat. I checked the plugs almost after everytime we take a long drive. Depending on what the fuel is set at, last time they looked fine. But before when the car was running really bad they were soild black. Now they black but the tip is clean. I just dont get it. i have put a stock reg on the car, but the stupid car wont run with the stock pressure now. I have so much shit in my head that it could be. I know i am close but why is the damn thing set at 80psi + and its still falling flat top end. First gear is really the only time the car really runs like it should. Thanks for any help. This is why i was just ready to take it somewhere.

the FIRST thing to deal with is the CELs. they are an excellent indication of what the ECU thinks is wrong, and since the ECU controls fuel delivery, you need to get those fixed.

the TPS is either bad or mis-aligned, both are pretty easy to fix... i would install another one for $10 but all my spares are in gainesville. im sure you can find one easy enough on here, or just check your voltage, it may be in the wrong spot (or unplugged completely).

the CYP is either a fryed wire or more likely a bad cylinder position sensor. if you disassmble the dizzy, and find no obvious external damage, then you will need to replace the dizzy, or at least make sure the wiring in the harness plug is correct. also, make sure the dizzy is installed correctly.

if push comes to shove and you want to tinker around with it with someone else you are welcome to bring it to largo for a day. just lmk.

good luck man.
