Default block question

one of my holes where the ARP stud goes in is stripped out.. all the other 9 are fine but one hold only lets the arp go in about 3/4 of the way. is there a way i can rethread it somehow so that one last bolt to sit properly?

Get a tap that matches the same thread and retap it.

This method is better than the helicoil. But the kit is really expensive, might check with a machine shop to see if they have a kit.

I have a timesert Honda b series repair kit and alignment fixture works great but my kit is for b series and not d. Expect to pay $350+ for a kit with the alignment fixture. I don't know of any machine shops in tampa that carry timesert kits which is why I own one now.
